A glimpse into a Mediterranean tasting experience designed for private villa and yacht dining:

Dalmatian fish menu

Starters • fish carpaccio (fresh wild white fish / lemon / olive oil / balsamic pearl / herbs) • special dalmatian fish soup (recipe from my grandmother born in 1919.)

Main Courses • Grilled fish filet prepared on an open fire on the grill (Brudet, Gregada or al forno fish if the location is equipped with a grill) • Fresh Adriatic scampi on the grill (If the location is not equipped with a grill, we can prepare Buzara.)

Side Dish • Swiss chard prepared dalmatian style (potato / garlic / extra virgin olive oil) • curly kale and potatoes sauteed

Sweet End ( choose 1 option ) • fresh seasonal fruit platte • local artisan pastry selection made by our pastry chef

Kristijan has an outstanding knowledge of local wines and produce. Everything he prepared was in season and made fresh in our kitchen... while we were simply left to relax and enjoy ourselves in the garden and by the pool.

Kristijan is one of the nicest and warmest people I have ever met. He went over and above to make sure we were satisfied. And even three months after staying in Hvar, I still think about his spectacular food. Without hesitation, I would recommend Chef Rojnica for any private chef needs you have.

Bravo! One of the best meals and experiences we have had. I highly recommend this chef. Our family of 10 thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful meal that he prepared for us. The variety of fresh local delicacies was absolutely delicious. He explained every dish with such love. We chose to do the wine pairing, which I would highly recommend. We will definitely be using him when we return to the beautiful island of Hvar. I would give more stars if I could :-)

I was looking for a private chef for my home when I met Kristijan – a polite, kind, and very accommodating person. We asked him to prepare different types of grilled meat. He paired each cut of meat with a different wine. We were very pleased with the dinner – he was always attentive to every request and detail. If you’re looking to enjoy a unique evening, I highly recommend trying Chef Kristijan. He will definitely be back next time for a seafood grill.

So, we wanted an over-the-top experience for our anniversary on Hvar. Chef Kristijan achieved this. He delivered! Our private in Villa experience was just that - over-the-top. Chef brought us a personal touch! He brought us family wines and family vegetables and family cheese and family EVERYTHING - all to make this special for us. Hiring a private chef for a dinner is expected to be a unique experience, but something about this chef is more than unique. Each meal has a story behind it, and it makes every dish more special than you imagined it could be once it’s served. From local ingredients and hours of dedication in preparation to the details and final execution — it’s like reading a book, chapter by chapter, and you just want to keep eating... I mean, reading. Sorry. Just book this guy. You won’t regret it.
